I also wrote a couple of reviews about rss readers, mainly the native or desktop variety.  Looking for the perfect, I examined and downloaded everyone I could find (I have also used various web-based and web-page readers as well).  The best free program as far as I am concerned is Omea-Pro (which became free late last year).  I ultimately decided to pay $15.00 for a version of FeedDemon (It was on sale in December), and have been very happy with it.  If anyone is interested my two reviews can be found here (Desktop RSS Readers for Windows) and here (Free Desktop RSS Readers:  An Update and Caveat.

Thanks Will, I bookmarked your reviews and they'll appear as links on The RSS Blog in the next day.

Correction.

Where I said: MyYahoo! was very popular a year ago, but has stagnating since and most of their users have abandoned the platform.

It's less so that MyYahoo has stagnated, than NetVibes has done really well.

Great work Randy!   I've linked to your article, as I think many would benefit from reading it.

Keep up the good work!

Thanks!
Although I agree that Yahoo has many issues, it is difficult to ignore their market share. Look at the recent FeedBurner stats report that shows My Yahoo drives more than half their traffic!

Sometimes I wonder about these kind of reviews. Is it all about cool toys, or what will bring the best results??

I would also like to introduce a RSS reader, eSobi developed by eSobi Co Ltd. It's an application that offers RSS aggregation, meta search and document clipping all in one. You are welcome to read my blog http://blog.360.yahoo.com/blog-YUN3QaA2aaMaaLKhyyLYnjbdrg--?cq=1
or download the 90 days free trial and experience the whole new way of handling internet.
