CNN: Five teenage boys accused of plotting a shooting rampage at their high school on the anniversary of the Columbine massacre were arrested Thursday after a message authorities said warned of a gun attack appeared on the Web site MySpace.com.

Randy: Anybody want to argue how terrible MySpace is?
Also, notice how they haven't yet said what they're being charged with. As likely as it may seem that they intended to go through with this little rampage, it really wasn't much more than a thought crime was it? Does US law cover that sort of thing yet?
Anyway, it is nice to see MySpace getting some positive press if nothing else.

police are using myspace more now to catch 'criminals'. they are even using it to spot out graffiti artists who post their paint up in either their blog or photo section.
personally, I use myspace to connect with my friends or with bands that I know. It's also a great tool for promotion, which works for me since promotion for shows are importent.
