Randy: The biggest winners here will be the end users. As you may already know, I've been complaining about Web 2.0 application that didn't scale and del.icio.us was one of them. Of late, del.icio.us has been very slow and hopefully with some Yahoo! magic ($$$), a new cluster of servers can bring back some responsiveness to del.icio.us. Further, del.icio.us was changing from a bookmarketing-tagging service into a search engine. Now, it can remaining a bookmarketing-tagging application.
