This morning, I finished my RSS schematron validator. With 1000+ test cases, thanks to Sam and Mark. This will be its permanent residence; yes, a blog entry.
Find a bug, just add a comment here describing it. Now, be nice. I threw this together in two weeks and right now the date validation is a real HACK.
The question of motivation is obvious. My feature requests for the Feed Validator were not being serviced, as the author's were focusing more on Atom than RSS. Additionally, this validator is completely portable, that is, it doesn't require a python run-time. All that you need is a schematron or xslt component. I'll explain this further, at a later time.
Here's the code to add the validator form elsewhere.
<FORM action="https://rssweblog.com/rsv.aspx">
XML URL: <INPUT name="xml" > <INPUT type="submit" value="Validate!" >
</FORM>
Update: I guess it had to be said, but flames in the comments of this entry will be removed.
Nicely presented information in this concern, I grade to hit this kindhearted of whatsis. The grade of knowledge is acceptable and the occurrence is suited. Thanks for the telephony.

Pretty good post. I just stumbled upon your blog and wanted to say that I have really enjoyed reading your blog posts. Any way I'll be subscribing to your feed and I hope you post again soon.
Appreciating the hard work you put into your site and in depth information you present. Itâs nice to come across a blog every once in a while that isnât the same unwanted rehashed material. Wonderful read! Iâve bookmarked your site and Iâm including your RSS feeds to my Google account.
Aw, this was a really great post. In theory I'd like to write like this also - taking time and real effort to make a good article... but what can I say... I procrastinate alot and never seem to get something done.
Your blog article is very interesting and fantastic, at the same time the blog theme is unique and perfect, great job. To your success. One of the more impressive blogs Iâve seen. Thanks so much for keeping the internet classy for a change.

This is a smart blog. I mean it. You have so much knowledge about this issue, and so much passion. You also know how to make people rally behind it, obviously from the responses. Youve got a design here thats not too flashy, but makes a statement as big as what youre saying. Great job, indeed.
My common experience with form is that, the more sophisticated they are the more custom validation you will need none the less.
The problem arises when you need some combined validation.
âSalary should not be greater than 10K if the person is female, but if he is male there is no uplimit in salary plus he can add additional data to field xâ
No Iâm not discriminating males over females. But I guess you see what I mean. Form validation is an ever-growing monster. And when you aim to create a generic validator for all possible cases you end up with a truckload of garbage code in your library. Which possibly will grow ever more when you try to integrate a âyet anotherâ business logic to it which you have not thought apriori.
the importance of education
You got a really useful blog I have been here reading for about an hour. I am a newbie and your success is very much an inspiration for me.

How To Connect To Samsung Kies
1. Make sure your phone is set to either 'Samsung Kies' or 'Ask on connection' under Settings > 'About phone' > 'USB settings'.
2. If you're not running the stock Samsung Launcher (TwLauncher) you need to switch back to it. I'm running ADW.Launcher and using Home Switcher to switch back to TwLauncher before I connect to Kies.
3. Once you're back on TwLauncher, go to Settings > 'SD card and phone storage'. Here you press 'Unmount SD card' under 'Internal SD card'.
4. Once the internal SD card has been unmounted, simply remount it by pressing 'Mount SD card'.
5. Press the Home button to be taken back to the Home page. Note: if you didn't set TwLauncher as your default home app, you shouldn't press the Home button, as that will launch your default home app, instead just backtrack to the Home page manually.
6. Connect your i9000 to your PC using the provided USB cable. If you set your USB settings to 'Ask on connection' in step 1, you'll see a popup where you pick 'Samsung Kies', otherwise it'll connect to Kies automatically.
7. If Samsung Kies isn't already started, fire it up and watch as it instantly recognizes your phone.
